I have three deaf children.  I Graduated with a BA in Graphic Arts, published by Addison Wesley, and illustrated and wrote children's books.  I have started my own company now, and create coloring books and books for children. I have created several books for deaf children and their parents with DVDs in ASL sign language. I have recently turned that part of the company over to a non-profit company-SLCLC.   I hope to one day provide many books on DVDs for the parents of deaf children in ASL and to be available in local libraries.  My one deaf son is currently teaching ASL at a University, and his wife is an interpreter for the deaf. My deaf daughter keeps busy with her two young children, and my other deaf son is an artist and an awesome welder.   I am currently working part time again as an Activities Director at a retirement home.  I am also creating coloring books for the elderly and writing a "How to Do" book for Activity personnel--with some of the fun things I developed over the years in working with wonderful seniors.
